Philippians 4:13 - "I can do all thing through Christ who strengthens me."

Many times we are faced with huge obstacles in life.  In today's world, this
scenario seems all too often.  Through Christ we can over come any obstacle
in the way.  In outdoor TV everything is not gift wrapped and handed to you.
It is a lot of hard work and determination that gets us to where we are.
There has been many times where I thought the end of what we have would be
near and have begun to take these worries on myself.  Each time I turn all
of my troubles over to the Lord to do as he sees fit.

I've never been let down, nor will I ever be.  To God be the glory.

Attached are some photos of me.

Michael Lee

Week 2Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the
prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we
do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly. I do not fight like a man
beating the air. No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be
disqualified for the prize.
1 Corinthians 9:24-27
Everyone is after something, what are you chasing? Life is a race, short but important. It is important to understand
that one way or another you will receive a prize, the only difference in the prize is one of them you earned and the
other you did not. What prize do you want? This is the question we all must ask ourselves today.
Jesus has provided us with the prize of eternal life that we cannot and will not earn. We need to train ourselves to be
Godly, so when the race has ended we are standing in victory lane being crowned by our father Jesus Christ.
It is time that we start training ourselves to be Godly men, we need to stand up and tell people about the prize of
salvation that cannot be earned. Do not run aimlessly because this will earn you the prize we all deserve. Live your life
for Christ and train yourself to do so. It all starts will prayer and reading your Bible. God loves you, love him back!
Dare to be different, dare to be uncommon, dare to be Godly.

Week 3LOST!

Have you ever been lost in the woods? Have you ever stopped on a hunt and looked around and not recognized any
landmarks? Has your flashlight gone out while deep in the swamp looking for a wounded deer? Has one of the guys
failed to show up at the rendezvous point by dark? I have experienced all of these events during my days and nights
hunting large game. It is a scary and hopeless feeling if you are lost. It is equally so if a close friend or relative is lost.
Did you pray to be found or to find the lost?

How about the spiritually lost individual? Do you have a burden for them? Do you pray for their salvation? They are
forever lost and don't even realize their plight. How scary is that? Do you know someone who is without salvation?

Our Sunday school class just completed a several week study on praying for the lost. Our leader presented scripture to
support Gods call for us to pray for the salvation of the lost individual.

We need to ask God to show us what to do. Does he want us to form new friendships, perform acts of kindness, give of
our time or our finances?

Here are some scriptures to start with to prepare you to help the lost.

Matthew 9:35-36. Christ had compassion for the lost.
Romans 1:16 and 2 Timothy 1:7-9. Remove from me any shame of sharing the Gospel with the lost.
1 John: 8-9. Forgive my sin of omission for not sharing the Gospel
Luke 11:5-12; 18:1-8. Pray to be persistent in prayer for the lost.

I have been a poor prayer warrior for the lost. I have been familiar with these verses most of my Christian life but failed
to use them as they are intended. The power is in putting them to proper use. I am now practicing the art of praying
these verses.

Read the referenced verses and turn them into prayers to help you become a prayer warrior for the lost.

Next week I will share with you the verses we studied about praying for the lost person.

Sportsman's tip: Learn to use a compass and keep one with you when hunting or fishing.

God's speed,

Week 4
Week 4Still Lost!!!!!

Do you have friends that are still lost in the world of sin? They truly do not know which way to turn for help. You
however do know the way home. Last week we discussed some verses to help us get started being prayer warriors for
the lost. This week I want to show you some verses from our Sunday school lesson that will help you pray more
specifically for the salvation of lost friends, acquaintances and strangers alike. Look up each verse to get the full
meaning of the short paraphrases used below.

John 6:44 God please draw him/her to Jesus.

John 16:8-11 God please convince him/her of his sin, the righteousness of Christ, and the judgment of Satan.

Romans 10:17 & 1:16 God please make it so that he/she will hear the Gospel and the power of the Gospel will be
released.

Matthew 9:37-38 God please put Christian people in his/her life.

James 4:6 God please break/melt his/her pride and bring him/her to humility.

John 8:32 God please reveal to him/her the truth and expose the lies.

Mark 1:15 God please bring him/her to repentance.

II Corinthians 7:10 Please grant him/her Godly sorrow.

Ephesians2:8-9 and Philippians 1:29 God please grant him/her saving faith. God please grant them the ability to
believe.

John 3:1-8 and Ephesians2:1-5 God please grant him the second birth-spiritual birth-regeneration.

I do not have a specific verse for this one but ask God to keep them alive long enough for these things to happen.

Sportsman's tip: Keep your knife sharp. I keep a steel and a ceramic sharpener in my fanny pack. Take it from a
surgeon, sharp knives are less dangerous to use and get the job done a lot faster. It is easier to keep a keen edge on
your knife if you touch it up more often.

Next week I will give you some spiritual way points that God has selected to steer your lost friends home.

Gods speed,

Doctor Johnny
